MUST Ministries
Fair Oaks UMC supports the missions of MUST Ministries...but we also need your help to fulfill these needs. Our mission committee chairperson, Linda Rhoades, is a volunteer at MUST Smyrna and lovingly takes our weekly donations to the Donation Center. She reports back to us their critical outages and we strive to fulfill those needs first.
During the winter months, MUST feeds thousands of hungry people and help clothe those in need of warmth, but it’s more difficult because food and clothing supplies are low. Right now, their food pantries and clothing closets are almost bare because many of the ongoing food drive sites take holiday breaks. In the meantime, the demand doesn’t take a break. In fact, most of their families have school-age children who are home and need more food than ever and warm clothing. You can help. Just host a food drive for one week and bring the non-perishables to their new Donation Center : 55 Chastain Road Bldg. 100, Suite 110 Kennesaw , GA What is needed? Canned meat (chicken, tuna, dried beef, ham, sardines), peanut butter, jelly, boxed complete dinners, pasta and sauce, canned pasta meals, juice, oatmeal, chili, beef stew, pancake mix, dry potatoes, dried beans, flavored rice, grits, sugar, coffee, bread/muffin mix, canned/dry milk.
